Position: Recreation Aide Role at AgeCare

As a vital member of the Age Care team, you will assess, plan, and implement recreation programs that align with established care plans. You will work collaboratively with other caregivers to enhance residents’ quality of life and ensure their active participation in various activities and events. Your contributions will be essential in building a vibrant community environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and delivering recreation programs

• Build positive relationships with residents and families

• Document resident participation and program activities

• Support resident engagement in community outings

• Help prepare for daily activities and meal service

Requirements:

• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or equivalent

• Background in senior care or recreation preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Must hold a valid driver's license
