Senior Project control officer

Our client, a top banking client in Canada, is looking to hire a Senior PCO role for their team with a contract of 12 months which is renewable. This role 1-2 days a week in the office for their Toronto office.

• Project Coordination:
  Assist PMs & Scrum master's in project planning, scheduling, and tracking using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Financial Management:
  Track and reconcile budgets, analyze variances, and manage project financials.
• Reporting & Documentation:
  Maintain SharePoint records, manage status reports, and prepare executive-level presentations.
• Meeting Support:
  Take minutes, log action items, and ensure timely follow-ups for key meetings.

• 5+ years of previous PCO experience (preferably good PCO exp, managing different projects)
• Strong experience with managing project financials
• General understanding of accounting practices
• Experience with Agile and Share Point
• MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Word, Power Point

• Banking experience/large enterprise experience
• Any PM certifications

• Very organized
• Able to meet strict timelines
• Great communication skills
