Part Time Caretaker Schools

Join Medicine Hat Public School Division as a part-time Caretaker. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety across Ross Glen and George Davison schools every evening.

We seek a committed Caretaker for a 6-hour shift, working from Monday to Friday, from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM. You will ensure classrooms, restrooms, and common areas are clean and secure, directly contributing to the educational environment. Your efforts will help support student learning through effective maintenance of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in all areas

• Maintain and restock cleaning equipment and supplies

• Ensure building security and assist with safety protocols

• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly

• Support setup and takedown for school events

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• At least 6 months of caretaking experience preferred

• Valid WHMIS certification or ability to obtain

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety regulations

• Physical capability for lifting and extended standing
