Environmental Services Assistant

Position: Environmental Services Assistant at AgeCare
Enhance community living as an Environmental Services Assistant with Age Care in Medicine Hat, AB. Provide essential repairs, maintenance, and customer service for residents in a supportive environment.

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, this role focuses on performing routine repairs and minor maintenance tasks. Candidates are expected to implement building systems upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance. You'll also ensure compliance with safety standards and uphold the organization’s values while caring for vulnerable adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine repairs on building systems and equipment

• Complete painting and minor carpentry tasks

• Perform regular premises inspections to maintain safety

• Adhere to facility policies and safety protocols

• Support housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• Strong ability to follow instructions in English

• Experience with minor repairs and maintenance work

• Physically fit for lifting and moving objects

• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems

• Must provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check

Support residents while delivering quality maintenance and customer service at Age Care.
