Head Custodian

Position: Full-Time Head Custodian
Lead the custodial team at Vincent Massey School in Medicine Hat as a Head Custodian. This full-time position focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety in a supportive school environment.

At Medicine Hat Public School Division, you will supervise daily cleaning operations and uphold health and safety standards.

Your role is vital in fostering a positive environment for students and staff. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience and strong knowledge of custodial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate custodial staff operations

• Maintain cleanliness and safety across the facility

• Perform daily checks of building systems

• Conduct minor maintenance on furniture and equipment

• Manage custodial supplies and equipment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum of 6 months supervisory experience

• Valid WHMIS, First Aid, and CPR certifications

• Basic computer skills and effective communication

• Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector required
