Hydrovac Assistant Operator

Position: Hydrovac Assistant Operator Role Available
Join Badger as an Assistant Hydrovac Operator and support vital infrastructure work through hydro-excavation. Ensure safety compliance and effective equipment use in this hands-on position.

In this role, you will assist with equipment setup, site preparation, and troubleshooting minor mechanical issues. Your background in hydrovac or vacuum truck work will provide a strong foundation for contributing to excavation projects. Strong communication and customer service skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to assigned job sites for various projects

• Operate hydro-vacuum equipment outside the facility

• Manage clean-up and general maintenance of machinery

• Troubleshoot repairs on minor equipment issues

• Attend safety meetings effectively and uphold safety standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is essential

• Prior experience with hydrovac or trucking is preferred

• Valid Driver’s License and good driving history required

• Must achieve CSO safety card certification promptly

• Physical capability to lift and perform diverse tasks outdoors
