GeneralDescription
As a Production Technician, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of Goodyear's manufacturing plants. Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Follow standard work procedures and safety standards
- Operate tire manufacturing (heavy industrial) equipment and related machinery
- Meet quality expectations for all output
- Perform manual tasks in varying temperatures, including lifting, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights
- Adhere to attendance policies
- Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
- Follow all instructions accurately
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship
- Ability to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights, with or without accommodations
- Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
- Basic computer skills
- Previous experience as a Production Technician in manufacturing
- Additional education or certifications in manufacturing
- Experience with industry safety standards
- Self-motivated with initiative
- Hardworking and diligent
- Adaptable to changing environments
- Team-oriented
- Committed to safety
