BMP Supplies is a 20+ year-old, family-owned Canadian manufacturer of environmental products used in the construction industry. We manufacture products such as Erosion Control Blankets, Wattles, and Turbidity Curtains using a wide variety of raw materials including straw, jute, PVC, cable, chain, netting, and geotextiles.

We are currently hiring dependable and hard-working Production Technicians for our Brooks, Alberta facility, located down the road from Centennial Arena.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity for extension at the end of the term if both parties desire.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain all safety standards and safe work practices

Manufacture a variety of environmental products using different raw materials and equipment

Move, prepare, and load materials into production equipment

Assist with assembly, packaging, wrapping, and moving finished products

Handle materials such as straw, jute, PVC, cable, chain, netting, and related components

Perform general production and warehouse duties as assigned

Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Work cooperatively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals

Working Environment

Manufacturing and warehouse environment

Some tasks may involve repetitive movement and physical labor

Environment can be dusty due to natural raw materials used in production

Qualifications

Dependable, punctual, and safety conscious

Must have a valid work visa or permanent residency status allowing you to legally work in Canada

Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift

Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs

Able to follow instructions and work well with others

Manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience is considered an asset, but not required
