What is the Opportunity?
Our Highways division is looking to add Mobile Rock Crusher Personnel for the 2026 Road Construction Season. This role will require extensive travel throughout Alberta. The Mobile Rock Crusher Personnel is responsible for the safe setup, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of a mobile crushing plant used to process aggregate materials. This role works as part of a crushing crew to ensure production targets are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
WhatYou'll Do Here
- Operate and monitor mobile crushing and screening equipment (primary, secondary, conveyors, and screen decks)
- Feed crusher using loaders or coordinate with equipment operators to maintain consistent material flow
- Adjust crusher settings to achieve specified material gradation and production requirements
- Conduct daily production tracking, including tonnage, throughput, and equipment performance
- Communicate with crew members and supervisors to optimize plant efficiency
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skid steer experience is required.
- Rock Truck experience is an asset.
- Familiar with aggregates and the construction industry required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Awareness of surroundings and ability to perform job in a safe manner.
- Self-motivated with good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, co-workers, contractors, and the public in a courteous, professional manner at all times.
- Must be a team player.
- Must comply with the company's drug & alcohol program, including testing requirement.
