Position: Field Operator for Mobile Rock Crushing
Location: Redcliff

Take on the role of Field Operator in Aecon’s Highways division for the 2026 Road Construction Season in Alberta. This job emphasizes the safe operation and efficiency of mobile crushing plants used for aggregate processing.

We are looking for individuals with a proactive mindset, able to work on-site and communicate effectively with the crew. You will drive production targets through meticulous equipment monitoring while traveling throughout Alberta’s construction sites. Adhering to safety and quality standards is paramount in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate mobile crushing equipment

• Coordinate with equipment operators for material flow

• Set adjustments for specified production outcomes

• Track daily production data and operational performance

• Communicate production needs with supervisory staff

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Required skid steer operational experience

• Rock truck familiarity is a plus

• Must have a valid driver's license

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
