Community Relations Director College

Exciting opportunity to advance community engagement initiatives at Medicine Hat College as the Community Relations Director. This leadership role centers on fostering relationships and strategic advocacy.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will steer community relations and stakeholder engagement efforts. By leading fundraising initiatives and building partnerships, you will elevate the College’s regional presence and reputation. Your insights on community and government relations will support institutional priorities and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute strategic community engagement plans

• Manage fundraising and secure grants and sponsor ships

• Advise leadership on stakeholder and community relations

• Cultivate meaningful partnerships with local organizations

• Supervise the Athletics department for regional impact

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or relevant field

• At least 5 years of leadership experience

• In-depth understanding of fund development techniques

• Discretion and professionalism in communication

• Capability to analyze industry trends for future strategy
