Licensed Practical Nurse - Night Shift

Join us as a Licensed Practical Nurse working nights, where your focus is on compassionate resident-centered care. This role is vital for ensuring safety and comfort while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

In this 0.7 FTE position, the LPN will deliver nursing care, monitor residents’ health, and respond to nighttime emergencies. Upholding care standards as set by policies, you will also guide Health Care Aides and maintain an environment that fosters resident well-being and security while documenting all care accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care per care plans

• Administer medications and treatments appropriately

• Monitor, assess, and report health changes

• Collaborate with healthcare team for care continuity

• Ensure a safe environment for residents

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with provincial body

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program

• CPR/First Aid certification required

• Experience in long-term care preferred

• Strong critical thinking and organizational skills
