This role requires you to collaborate closely with the Director of Care, ensuring that nursing services are coordinated effectively within the residence. You will utilize your geriatric nursing knowledge to promote a safe, respectful environment for residents, while also navigating regulatory compliance in your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee coordination of nursing services for residents

• Lead daily shift reports within the health care team

• Document changes in residents’ conditions according to policy

• Efficiently process and communicate physician orders

• Report any challenges in order processing to leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is mandatory

• Registration in good standing with provincial authorities

• Familiarity with long-term care regulations and acts

• Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or nursing administration

• Strong commitment to ethical nursing practices
