Position: PT Snow Removal → Fulltime Spring Landscaper

Transitional Snow Removal → Spring Landscaper

Part-time now | Opportunity for full-time in spring

Want part-time work now and the chance to move into full-time landscaping this spring? This transitional role is built exactly for that.

We’re hiring on-call snow removal crew members from mid-February through March/early April, with the opportunity to move into landscape maintenance or construction once the season changes.

This position has two phases:

PHASE 1: ON-CALL SNOW REMOVAL (MID-FEB → MARCH / EARLY APRIL)
  • On-call shifts based on snowfall
  • Typically 30–50 hours per month, weather dependent
  • Must be available for all snow events, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical outdoor work using snow blowers, shovels, and ice melt
  • Standby pay for availability
PHASE 2: SPRING LANDSCAPING (APRIL ONWARD)
  • Opportunity to transition into:
    • Landscape maintenance or
    • Landscape construction
  • Full-time and seasonal roles available
  • Increased hours and wages based on role, performance, and reliability
YOU’RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:
  • Want part-time winter work with a path to spring employment
  • Are reliable and show up when called
  • Prefer physical, outdoor work over a desk job
  • Can handle early starts and changing schedules
  • Have experience in snow removal, landscaping, construction, or similar work (an asset, not required)
COMPENSATION
  • Snow removal starts at $22/hour, plus bonuses
  • Spring landscaping wages vary by role and experience, with opportunities for increased responsibility and pay
REQUIREMENTS
  • Physically fit and able to work in winter conditions
  • Reliable transportation and phone access
  • Snow removal experience is an asset, but not required
