Liquor Clerk- Eagle Butte; Highway

Position Summary

South Country Co-op is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Liquor Clerk to join our team at the Eagle Butte Liquor Store located off of Highway #1 in Dunmore, Cypress County, AB. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer experiences, we would love to hear from you.

• Provide world‑class customer service by assisting guests with purchases and inquiries.
• Receive and stock merchandise, rotate inventory, and replenish shelves as needed.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
• Maintain merchandising standards, including creating endcap displays and signage.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of shelves, coolers, and store areas.
• Adhere to provincial liquor laws and store safety procedures.
• Support team members as needed and help maintain a collaborative work environment.
• Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co‑op.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Pro Serve certification within 30 days of hire.
• Previous experience in liquor retail or general retail/cash handling is preferred.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 20–30 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally).
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of provincial liquor regulations an asset.
• Basic computer, calculator, and POS skills.
• Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, and professionally.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and a team player.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology.

This position requires full availability including days, evenings, and weekends.
