Gas Bar Supervisor - Eagle Butte; Highway ; Dunmore

Position Summary

South Country Co-op is seeking a customer-focused and team-oriented Full‑Time Gas Bar Supervisor to join our team at the Eagle Butte Gas Bar located off of Highway #1 in Dunmore, Cypress County, AB.

• Provide world‑class customer service to all guests.
• Supervise daily operations of the Gas Bar, supporting the Gas Bar Manager.
• Assist in inventory control, placing orders, and receiving shipments.
• Operate POS systems and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
• Help with merchandising, stocking, and maintaining clean, organized displays.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Gas Bar, fuel pumps, car wash, and propane station.
• Support the training and onboarding of new team members.
• Ensure all operations follow Co‑op policies and safety procedures.
• Perform duties of a Gas Bar Attendant as required.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co‑op.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of retail experience, ideally in a convenience or gas station setting.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions and lift up to 30 lbs frequently, and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Strong numeracy skills and ability to operate calculators, POS terminals, and registers.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Robust attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to lead and work in a diverse team environment.
• Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proven leadership skills with a focus on team engagement and motivation.
