The City of Medicine Hat is seeking a casual Transit Operator and Service Worker. In this position, you'll safely operate transit vehicles, provide exceptional customer service, and assist passengers, especially those with mobility needs. Your day-to-day tasks will also include managing fares, preparing buses, and maintaining transit facilities while fostering a professional atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate transit vehicles for customer transport

• Assist passengers using mobility devices during trips

• Manage fares by collecting payments and validating passes

• Communicate route, schedule, and transit information clearly

• Prepare and clean buses for service before shifts

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Alberta Class 2 Driver's License with airbrake endorsement

• Valid First Aid, CPR-C & WHMIS certification (asset)

• Experience with persons with disabilities is a plus

• Successful pre-employment drug screen completion
