Storekeeper

Position: Storekeeper I at City
Support essential city operations as a Storekeeper I with the City of Medicine Hat. This part-time, temporary role focuses on inventory management and efficient material distribution on-site.

In this entry-level position, you will work directly with the City Stores, managing supplies and ensuring smooth operational flow. Key responsibilities include receiving stock, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with various departments. You will also operate warehouse equipment and contribute to a clean and organized work environment while ensuring safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and distribute stock using inventory control systems

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts

• Prepare and deliver supplies to city departments

• Operate forklifts and other material handling tools

• Support records management and operational duties

Requirements:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• One year of related warehouse experience

• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License

• Knowledge of procurement procedures

• Ability to work independently under pressure
