• Exposure to varying weather when performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36‑90°F.
• Fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F.
• Cramped working quarters and hot tools.
• Physical demands: standing for long periods, walking on various floor types, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 30 lbs, stooping, bending, reaching, and coordinating hands with dough and tools.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery for daily use.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process customer orders.
• Complete inventory and associated paperwork.
• Maintain a clean restaurant facility.
• Successfully complete required training and job orientation.
• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Professionally communicate verbally with customers and staff in‑person and by phone.
• Calculate basic math quickly and accurately.
• Accuracy in money handling.
• Rapid, accurate hand‑eye coordination.
• Basic computer knowledge for order entry and administrative duties as needed.

• Minimum age 16. Must be 18 to prepare food, take orders, and process cash transactions.
• Strong speaking and hearing abilities.
• Good vision (near and mid‑range) and depth perception.
• Ability to decipher hot and cold surfaces.
• Capacity to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, operate under stress, meet strict quality standards.
• Analytical skills to compile data and make professional judgments.
