Job Summary
I am looking for a strong banking professional with experience in commercial credit/underwriting. Supervisory experience is a plus. The Commercial Underwriting/Credit Lead is responsible for supervising the commercial credit department and participates in the loan management process by providing credit and loan underwriting expertise to the Bank’s Commercial Lending team. The role analyzes prospective loan transactions and the creditworthiness of borrowers, validates the credit analysis prepared by the Commercial Credit Analysts, and provides opinions and recommendations regarding proposed credits and potential risks.

Qualifications- Prior leadership experience is required.
- Proficiency in underwriting and structuring complex commercial loans (both CRE and C&I) is required.
- Prior experience with commercial loan review function and/or management is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required, as well as Cleartouch, OnBase, and Credit Quest.
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience is required.
- 10‑15 years of experience in commercial credit or financial services is required.
