• Coordinate logistic and staging priorities with Warehouse Manager, Supervisors, and Operations Manager.
• Organize route setup and oversee transfer process in the Medina warehouse, ensuring proper staging.
• Support drivers when they return from deliveries, addressing concerns and escalating issues to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Communicate transportation-related issues with Regional Operation Managers and the Sales Team.
• Ensure beginning and end-of-day requirements are completed.
• Complete paperwork associated with each work activity.
• Respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate directly with Fleet Maintenance regarding fleet issues.
• Answer questions from warehouse employees regarding logistic operations.
• Complete required tasks on a computer.

• Lead by example, be respectful and trustworthy.
• Keep confidential information private.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to internal and external customers.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Inform Warehouse Manager of any policy violations or performance issues that need addressing.

• Learn operations and processes for each area in the warehouse.
• Learn dispatching and delivery processes.
• Ensure all processes are followed to meet customer service expectations.

• Train new hires on warehouse operations.
• Train new drivers on internal operations.
• Certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Able to train and certify employees on the industrial trucks.

• Safely use all equipment, including powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, cutting machines, bar code readers, carts, conveyors, doors, gates, etc.
• Ensure everyone follows safety protocols. If a safety matter arises, address it immediately and notify Warehouse Manager.
• Member of the Safety Committee.

• Identify and submit recommendations for process improvements to Warehouse Manager.
• Problem solve small issues;
  Escalate larger problems to Warehouse Manager.
• Assist Warehouse Manager in compiling required reports.
• Support Warehouse Manager and Supervisors with special projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Travel to other locations, meetings, seminars, etc.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 3-4 years previous warehouse experience, use of RF scanners.
• Familiar with ODOT regulations, pre-trip/post-trip inspection requirements.
• 3-5 years transportation experience.
• Confident taking direction and carrying through with limited to no supervision.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Problem solving experience.
• Prior supervisory experience is helpful.
• Capable of developing an action plan with minimal guidance from Management.
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to climb stairs, stoop, & kneel; reach with hands & arms, use hands & fingers.
