We are seeking someone who is hands-on and mechanically inclined to join our GROWING team as a Cold Header Operator in Medina, Ohio! Start a new career at our state-of-the-art production plant where we manufacture safety components for the US automotive industry! This is a full-time opportunity Monday thru Friday starting at $23.00

Cold Header Operator Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Willingness to learn
• Mechanical aptitude
• At least 3 year of experience operating machines; cold forming machinery experience highly preferred
• Ability to meet all post offer testing requirements including background check and drug screen

Cold Header Operator Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive training from lead person and engineering on how to interpret machine prints and product dimension specification for production
• Operate 2 to 6 station heading machines
• Perform machine set-ups and diameter changes
• Enter data in production system for quality tracking
• Perform machine adjustments and maintenance as needed
• First and last piece inspections
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must follow safe work practices and report safety concerns
• Is committed to cleanliness, preventive maintenance and proper use of assigned equipment
• Must attend training/classes for cold forming technology, quality, safety and others
