Your RoleThe Technical Machine Operator operates equipment that requires specialized training. Responsibilities may include performing setups, monitoring equipment, and making complex machine adjustments with significant operator interaction.
What You’ll Be Doing- Meet all functional requirements of a GMO where applicable.
- Operate equipment safely and according to the router and defect-free quality standards.
- Review equipment at the start of each shift to ensure proper working order; notify supervision of shortages and material needs.
- Adjust and operate equipment as specified in the router; perform quality checks per control plan.
- Complete hour-by-hour boards with documentation of issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor equipment for optimum running and report issues to supervision.
- Maintain and clean equipment before and after each shift; perform operator-specific preventative maintenance procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to maintain a high energy level and stay motivated as a self-starter.
- Strong attention to detailed paperwork/routers; ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Reliable attendance history and good work performance history.
- Mental and physical ability to perform job demands (lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; bending, twisting, standing).
- Excellent attendance and attention to detail.
The salary for this role begins at $19.93 per hour (plus shift differential if applicable), potentially higher depending on experience and qualifications.
