Responsibilities- Receive goods in MRP system and physically put goods into stock locations.
- Pick parts for projects and deliver them to work cells on the shop floor; support shop technicians with part requirements.
- Drive company trucks to make local deliveries (no CDL required).
- Prepare shipments.
- Receive parts, take them to QC for inspection or stocking.
- Once parts are inspected in QC, put those parts away.
- Maintain part locations in MRP at all times.
- Maintain warehouse—organize, clean, and dispose of old parts from shipped customer projects.
- Prepare parts to be sent to vendors for rework.
- Stage project parts to shop assembly floor as required.
- Drive tow motors.
- Pick parts for projects.
- Safety is always a key focus.
- Ability to drive tow motor and operate applicable forklifts.
- Computer savvy to generate and prepare reports.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive F450 stake body truck (CDL not required).
- Majority of shift spent standing.
- Ability to read tape measure and drawings/blueprints.
- Use of hands to feel equipment, reach with hands and arms to handle materials.
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds (higher requires lifting equipment).
- Frequent walking, climbing, balancing, kneeling, bending, crouching, stooping, pulling, and pushing to handle materials/inventory.
- 2 or more years of previous warehouse experience.
- MRP experience.
- Microsoft Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of preparing shipments for UPS, Fed Ex, and freight shipments.
