Welder Fitter

Overview

Welder Fitter role at RICO Manufacturing, Inc. in Medina, OH. This is a full-time fitter/MIG welder position in a team-focused environment with opportunities for growth and learning.

Starting wage starts at $23.50 per hour for new welders. Base wage is based on experience.

• Use of hand welding equipment to MIG or TIG weld components
• Fabricate and fit components
• Assemble components to build lift truck chassis
• Develop fixtures using blue-collar tables and tool packages to hold and align parts
• Clean finished chassis edges and spatter with portable grinder, hand file or scraper
• Meet or exceed production and quality goals
• Work independently
• Utilize plasma gas and Oxy/propane torches and carbon arc equipment
• Operate manual welding equipment in vertical, overhead, and horizontal positions
• Ability to use shear and straightening press

• 1-3 years of on-the-job experience as a welder/fabricator
• MIG, TIG, FLUXCORE welding
• Must supply your own tools
• Intermediate skills in blueprint reading
• Experience in a large machine/auto environment
• Use grinders and cutting torches
