The Sanitation Sanitor position will be responsible for all cleaning of soiled equipment used in the production process. All areas must be maintained according to department health codes.

• Maintaining all areas by washing walls, ceilings, floors, and equipment
• Visually inspect equipment and complete Sanitation worksheet document following each wash
• Maintain the storage of all cleaning supplies and utensils as instructed
• Work directly with QA to correct any deficiencies that may exist after inspection
• Set-up line and equipment to company standard prior to production when applicable
• Participate in company training sessions on all safety topics, work instructions, cleaning procedures, as well as Quality standards
• Operate Sanitation Cleaning equipment safely according to instructions given
• Understand the use of cleaning chemicals
• Responsible for keeping assigned work area clean and tidy
• Complies with GMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times
• Follow all SFC Core Values and be a team player
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of safe food handling practices
• Knowledge of Food Safety preferred
• Must have a strong attention to detail, and good time management
• Good communications and basic computer skills

• Employees will be required to walk, kneel, sit and stand long periods of time up to 8‑12 hours at a time
• Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently
• Hand‑eye coordination is required to properly complete job
• Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as cold/wet temperatures, and/or loud noises
• May frequently lift up to 65 pounds
