Ceramic Installer

Summary

MDG Flooring America – Kiba Studios is seeking skilled Ceramic Subcontractor Installers to join our team. The role involves installing ceramic tile on floors, walls, showers, and maintaining a clean, professional job site across Medina, Akron, and North Olmsted. Installers will travel throughout this region.

Subcontractor position paid by piece work. Rate varies by project type and scope.

• Install ceramic tile with precise layout, cuts, and alignment.
• Work with modern coupling membranes and stay current with industry standards.
• Install wall tile in both wet and dry areas.
• Construct showers, including standard and zero‑entry designs.
• Ensure daily and final cleanup of the workspace, including proper grout haze removal.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients as needed.

• Proven experience in ceramic tile installation (floors, walls, showers).
• Strong knowledge of current installation methods, including coupling membranes.
• Ability to perform precise cuts and layouts.
• Experience with zero‑entry shower installations preferred.
• Must have own set of professional tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Must have a reliable vehicle capable of hauling materials.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Active business insurance and vehicle insurance.
