Accounting Clerk

Mercedes Benz of Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This role involves supporting the accounting department through accurate data entry, record keeping, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure smooth accounting operations.

• Record the purchase of inventory
• Perform data entry and verify accuracy of invoices and payments
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely financial information flow
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as required

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional accounting education is a plus
