• Planned and supervised activities including determining the method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, and work schedule
• Trained and managed other field staff
• Through assigned Foremen, managed the day‑to‑day activities of the construction operation
• In conjunction with the Project Manager, created and maintained project schedule; monitored, and reviewed critical path dates and milestone schedules
• Communicated site problems, conflicts, schedules, and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner
• Resolved field construction problems
• Maintained open communication between all subcontractors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support project activities and project schedule
• Monitored field staff & subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements; ensured that weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks were completed; ensured that corrective measures were implemented
• Assisted the Safety Department in performing incident and/or accident investigations and follow‑up
• Understood all subcontractors’ scopes; assured subcontractors maintained schedules, and quality standards to meet contract requirements
• Assisted the Project Manager with subcontractor disputes, quality control, and schedule coordination
• Worked with the Project Manager and owner’s representatives to ensure work complied with drawings and specifications
• Supported the Project Manager in the negotiation of claims and changes
• Provided input to Project Manager regarding cost and schedule forecasts
• Assisted the Project Manager with Change Order review
• Performed project close‑out and ensured punch list was completed in a timely manner
• Mentored Project Associates assigned to the project

• Minimum of three years’ experience on construction projects in a Healthcare Foreman or Healthcare General Foreman role (or higher) position
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, and ability to control and supervise small to midsized groups
• Good organization, multi‑tasking, leadership, and decision‑making ability
• Basic computer skills preferred
