The Role
We provide comprehensive in‑house training to set you up for success from day one. This isn’t just a job—it’s the start of a career that can lead you into roles in underwriting, inspections, claims, and beyond!
What You’ll Do- Handling inbound and outbound calls from agents and policyholders in a fast‑paced call center environment.
- Providing accurate information on policies, billing, payments, and underwriting processes.
- Navigating multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy to research and resolve inquiries.
- Assisting with quotes, policy changes, and documentation using our paperless technology systems.
- Learning and applying underwriting guidelines and manuals to assess and process insurance risks.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Underwriting, Claims, and Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Maintaining high standards for call quality, accuracy, attendance, and customer satisfaction.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18 years old. - Preferred:
Experience working in a call center, customer service, or insurance environment. - Licensing:
Ability to obtain a Florida Personal Lines or General Lines license (company‑supported).
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and active listening abilities.
- Strong computer skills, multi‑tasking, and attention to detail.
- Analytical and decision‑making skills for evaluating customer and policy information.
- Ability to thrive in a structured call center setting with performance metrics and goals.
- Technical proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and database systems. - Personal attributes:
Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn; positive, team‑oriented attitude with a focus on growth and excellence.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk, including the use of stairs.
- Ability to communicate with others, lift light objects (≤25 lbs), and use standard office equipment.
- Occasionally required to bend, twist, or stoop to open/close cabinets or reach for files.
