• Must be age 18 at time of employment
• Experience working with children (preferred)
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality After school Programs (SQAP) – 8 hours online as Inservice or equivalent DCF‑AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality After school Programs – 12 hours; complete within 90 days of appointment
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification or obtain within 90 days of appointment
• BAS Academy:
  Level I (24 hours online) for the School Age Certification; obtain training within 90 days of appointment and complete within one year of appointment
• Valid State Driver’s License
• HS Diploma or equivalent (GP LEADER II)
• Two years’ experience working with children (GP LEADER II)
• BAS Academy:
  Level I and II (48 hours online) of the School Age Certification (GP LEADER II)
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification (GP LEADER II)
• BAS Academy:
  Level III (24 hours online) of the School Age Certification; obtain training within 90 days of appointment and complete within one year of appointment (GP LEADER II)
