Adjunct Faculty - MSE

The Department of Mathematics and Systems Engineering is seeking dynamic and knowledgeable individuals as adjunct faculty to teach College Algebra and/or Calculus courses during Fall 2025. Successful candidates will play a crucial role in imparting theoretical and practical knowledge to students, fostering a deep understanding of underlying concepts in these courses.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:
**** Course Instruction:
** Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and hands-on sessions to guide students through the intricacies of course material.
** Curriculum Development:
** Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with the latest advancements.
** Evaluation and Assessment:
** Design assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate students' understanding and proficiency in applying methods and techniques taught in the course.
** Student Engagement:
** Foster a positive and interactive learning environment, encouraging student participation and engagement in discussions and practical exercises.

Hours:

** Provide regular office hours for student consultations, addressing questions and concerns related to the course content.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

**** Educational Background:
** A Ph.D. in Mathematics.
** Teaching

Experience:

** Prior experience in teaching courses in Single/Multi-variable Calculus and College Algebra is highly desirable.
** Communication

Skills:

** Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
