Position: Adjunct Faculty for on-campus CIS 5210, Integration of Database Systems
Prepare instructional materials including syllabi, assignments, projects, and assessments.

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is seeking an adjunct faculty member with a strong academic and practical background in Database Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching CIS 5210 – Integration of Database Systems, a graduate-level course focused on the principles and integration of database technologies within the broader field of Computer Information Systems (CIS). This is an
** on-campus
** teaching assignment, and the course emphasizes both theoretical foundations and applied skills, including database design, SQL, and data management practices. Prior teaching experience and familiarity with current database tools and platforms are highly desirable.
* Deliver engaging lectures and discussions on e-commerce concepts and applications.
* Prepare instructional materials including syllabi, assignments, projects, and assessments.
* Introduce students to practical tools and platforms for building and managing e-commerce systems.
* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy standards in online platforms.
* Evaluate student performance through exams, projects, and participation.
* Provide timely feedback, academic support, and mentorship to students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the CIS curriculum and ensure alignment with program outcomes.
