. This position is located in Melbourne, FL and is a full‑time, mid‑senior level engineering opportunity.
- Develop aircraft electrical wiring designs for functional systems, selecting aircraft‑type conductors and electro‑mechanical components such as connectors, backshells, relays, switches, circuit breakers, and termination hardware in accordance with SAE AS 50881, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620, and proven commercial practices.
- Apply EMI shielding and separation requirements.
- Design electrical wiring interconnection systems (EWIS) using ECAD tools such as Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Capital Harness, Zuken or equivalent.
- Collaborate with harness fabrication shops and work independently under general supervision.
- Operate in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations, managing diverse assignments across multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and at least 2 years of related electrical engineering experience.
- For a Principal Electrical Engineer level, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 5 years of experience in electrical design of air vehicle systems, OR a Master’s degree and 3 years of engineering experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
- Experience with military aircraft subsystem development.

Primary Level Salary Range: $77,200 – $115,800
Secondary Level Salary Range: $95,300 – $142,900
