• Execute objectives for requirements management, reliability, logistics, coordination of different teams, evaluation measurements, and other disciplines for large or complex projects.
• Monitor the cost, effectiveness, and reliability of activities and recommend modifications to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and ensure that standards are met.
• Research and evaluate investments or changes in technology, resources, procedures, equipment, systems, or other assets to improve the quality of the organization’s systems, products and services.
• Provide analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and develop verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
• Perform analysis at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
• Consider and evaluate alternatives accounting for similar metrics.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform architectural exploration.
• Decompose customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece part requirements, and generate verification criteria and plans for the requirements.

• Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Avionics Engineering or a related field and at least 8 years of progressive experience as a Systems Engineer in the avionics industry. Alternatively, a master’s degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience with the use and application of systems engineering principles and techniques.
• Must possess at least 5 years of performing hardware testing, integration, and troubleshooting in support of fielded products.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience with safety-critical product development for the Avionics domain.
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience with analysis of systems of high complexity (multi-subsystem, multiple hardware components or mixed electrical technologies and software).
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience with Systems requirements development, analysis, and decomposition.
• Must possess at least 2 years of experience analyzing and developing Systems Architecture and at least 2 years of experience with agile development processes; knowledge of RTCA DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, and DO-297.
• Non-US Person – Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
