Position: Senior Engineering Manager (Network)

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will serve as the lead for the planning, execution, and oversight of large-scale engineering initiatives. This role provides strategic leadership and technical direction across multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring modernization efforts are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with mission‑critical objectives.

Position will be located at Patrick SFB.

This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X.

Responsibilities

• Manages all program engineering efforts, staffing, and team dynamics.
• Participates in all design reviews, tests, and logistics efforts.
• Oversees and supports engineering teams assigned to each phase of DAF BIM from survey to O&M.
• Briefs leadership stakeholders regarding engineering efforts.
• Writes engineering plans, findings, and recommendations.
• Supports development and review of preliminary and final SPRIP.
• Enforces engineering standards, policies, and regulations.
• Provides input to Master Scheduler regarding sequencing of tasks, durations, dependencies, deliverables, and milestones.
• Coordinates resource assignments with Program Manager and Task Order Project Managers.
• Attends or provides engineering resources to support customer meetings such as the PAC, KOM, IPT, and Program Status.
• Plans transition services with Program Manager, including WITO and O&M.

Material & Equipment Directly Used

• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience working with DoD or USG programs.

Working Environment

Office environment with potential to support austere locations.

Physical Activities

Must be able to lift / carry 50 lbs.

Qualifications Education / Certifications

• Technical BA / BS degree; or High School Diploma or Associate Degree.

Experience / Skills

• 7 years with BA / BS degree; or Minimum of 10 years performing as a Network Engineer on large, complex programs / systems with High School Diploma or Associate Degree.

Clearance Requirement

• This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret (Tier
  3) level clearance.

Skills & Technology Used

• Minimum of 2 years managing / leading large, complex network modernizations.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience working with DoD or USG programs.
