Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Air Vehicle Systems Integrator to join our Test and Evaluation organization in Melbourne, FL. This role will lead Level I and Level II system alpha test efforts, perform subsystem integration, and ensure readiness for system-level testing. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance and a STEM degree with 6–8 years of related experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine test procedures based on Level I and Level II system requirements.
- Lead subsystem integration efforts and evaluate hardware and software changes prior to alpha testing.
- Utilize test infrastructure to dry run and execute system level verification, providing immediate feedback on software and hardware build candidates.
- Serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects and act as an advisor to management and customers on technical subjects.
- Support Systems engineering to develop Verification Cross Reference Matrices.
- Support Test Equipment Checkout and System Integration.
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 4 years of related professional/military experience. Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
