Head of Recruitment at IMS Recruiting and Intra Management Solutions | Cleared & Technical Talent for Aerospace, Defense Energy and Space | Direct…A confidential aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Program Manager to own growth, strategy, and customer engagement for advanced avionics products supporting both Defense and Commercial markets.
This role sits at the intersection of program ownership, customer-facing leadership, and business growth
. You’ll be responsible for managing product lines end-to-end, including pricing, contracts, P&L performance, and market strategy, while working closely with engineering, operations, and leadership.
- Own program and product line performance including growth, pricing, and profitability
- Develop and expand customer relationships through direct engagement and presentations
- Identify and close new business while growing existing accounts
- Lead proposals, product briefings, and business cases
- Analyze market trends and competitive data to guide strategy
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure strong execution and customer support
- Represent the business at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events (up to ~30% travel)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or a technical manufacturing environment
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence across teams
- Comfortable in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments
- Eligible to work on U.S. export‑controlled programs
- High visibility and ownership
