Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate / Engineer Systems Operations Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. This role is located in Melbourne, FL.

This role may be filled at either the Associate Engineer Systems Operations Analyst or Engineer Systems Operations Analyst, based on qualifications listed below.

Responsibilities
  • Performing military requirements analysis
  • Threat system analysis
  • System survivability analysis
  • Mission performance/effectiveness analysis
  • Military utility
Additional Responsibilities
  • Performing modeling, simulation, and analysis to support program development, execution, and related research and development projects.
  • Supporting the lead in developing or assessing new requirements and evaluate advanced air vehicle concepts and technologies.
  • Supporting mission engineering activities to ensure performance capabilities of new systems and architectures are traded against cost and mission requirements; develop mission relevant scenarios; assess operational effectiveness of existing and emerging systems and capabilities in the threat environment.
  • Communicating across the engineering disciplines and technology areas to integrate capabilities.

Basic Qualifications (Associate Engineer Systems Level)
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation), and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Basic Qualifications (Engineer Systems Level)
  • Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 2 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master’s of Science degree in a STEM discipline AND 0 years of related professional/military experience, OR a STEM Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience.
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance (DoD must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation), and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
