Position Summary
Process Engineer at Winchester Interconnect – As our Process Engineer, you will work directly with the Process Engineering Manager and play a key role in maintaining and optimizing manufacturing processes for a growing division of a multi‑billion‑dollar, public company. Responsibilities include understanding the unique process technology, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, developing process capabilities, achieving quality standards, and ensuring exceptional internal and external customer satisfaction.
Qualifications& Requirements
- 5 Years in a Manufacturing environment
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, or equivalent work/education experience. - Hands‑on mechanical experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Skills:
material science, components, processes, electrical/mechanical testing and regulatory approvals; excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Access database navigation, Internet; excellent written/verbal communication skill.

- Provide engineering support to production to keep jobs moving
- Enhance/improve processes to reduce processing time/cost
- Provide process information to the design team on new jobs
- Support scheduled PM activities and maintain equipment
- Safety / Training
- Culture – Champion the Winchester culture while creating a strong business unit
- Create and maintain a task tracking system for the process group and track metrics with the group
- Create and maintain a system of process information to which the process group can refer
- Lead Process Improvement Teams to better our processes and support our customers
- Learn as much about all of our processes as possible
- Help diagnose production equipment issues and suggest improvements
