Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Associate Engineer Systems/Engineer Systems. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, Florida. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Systems Engineering directorate. The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Other duties include:
- Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications for a Associate Engineer Systems (T01)A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
- The ability to learn and carry through with HIVE architecture to support occasional HIVE lab set up, which includes laying out a HIVE lab to a given room dimension, identifying hardware/software, installation, and calibration is expected. You will also support internal and/or external customer tours.
MUST BE WILLING TO WEAR MOTION CAPTURE SUIT - Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Your ability to obtain and/or transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Top Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
