Electronics Technician, Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics Engineer
A client in the defense industry is looking for an Engineering Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Skillsand Requirements
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, and RF/analog and digital circuits to the component level with test equipment, i.e., signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and RF equipment
- 2 years of experience with a secondary/AA/AS degree
- 3-5 years of experience with HS degree
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- Experience working from drawings, diagrams, customer specifications, schematics and/or test procedures to diagnose and analyze problems utilizing a variety of test equipment
- Experience supporting electro-mechanical assembly or manufacturing assembly
- Experience working under a microscope and with small tools
- Experience/Knowledge of J-STD-001, IPC-610 (Soldering)
- Able to use computers and MS Word and office proficiently
