Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to manage incoming communications, assist with data management, and provide exceptional support to both internal teams and external clients. This position plays a key role in ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Maintain expertise and up to date knowledge of UT customer service policies, procedures, business rules and related operations
- Ensure accurate data entry into the ASSIST system of record
- Follow strict business rules for handling various inquiries
- Ensure all questions, faxes, emails and calls are responded to and documented in a timely manner. Triage inquiries appropriately
- Ensure accurate reporting of calls and activities to management
- Provide information and data to management in a timely and complete manner
- Ensure all department records are current, accurate, and well maintained
- Effectively utilize company software and tools for coordination of customer service
- Follow UT code of conduct, policies and procedures, standard operating procedures and any other business rules applicable to ASSIST. Report any instances of misconduct or non-compliance with UT policies and procedures
- Complete assigned training and education requirements
- Communicate and collaborate professionally with team members and clients
- All other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service/support function
- Demonstrated strong work-ethic and commitment to providing exceptional support and services to all key stakeholders
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service in a call center environment
- Essential telephone and electronic communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member with a focus on exceeding customer/client expectations
