Overview

KT-ABA is an in-home company that provides science-based behavioral intervention. We practice data-driven therapy methods while keeping the atmosphere fun and exciting. We work closely with real paleontologists, giving your child the opportunity to experience nature while being educated about the world around them. KT-ABA provides a one-on-one behavioral staff member on every adventure to ensure dependable behavioral support for you and your child.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support, training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians providing services to clients on caseload.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers and staff to conduct assessments and provide therapeutic services.
  • Perform functional assessments of behavior and develop behavior intervention plans for target students and clients, including interviewing staff and family members to gather background information.
  • Directly observing the individual in all relevant settings and analyzing data to determine the function of the problem behavior.
  • Develop behavior support plans and plan updates that address the function of the problem behavior.
  • Develop data collection systems and review behavior data, monitoring and analyzing data to ensure intervention effectiveness, data validity, reliability, and appropriate data collection measures; address discrepancies with the appropriate staff member.
  • Provide training to caregivers and collect data on competency with implementation of plan components to ensure treatment fidelity.
  • Monitor staff competencies and inter-observer agreement.
  • Complete progress notes, clinical and supervision reports, and data summaries in a timely manner in accordance with EP documentation standards.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work with parents and staff collaboratively and respectfully.
  • Excellent knowledge and command of the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code.
  • Flexibility to ensure contextual fit of treatment.
  • Must pass a local and level 2 background check and federal level 3.
  • Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's license.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Candidates must hold at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or Behavior Analysis.
  • Preferred experience includes at least one year of completing comprehensive functional assessments and behavior support plans and supervising technicians, with two years’ experience serving individuals with lifelong disabilities.
  • Current BCaBA certification (as certified by BACB).
  • Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs in homes or schools.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English as required.
What We Offer
  • Salary: $34-$41 per hour.
  • Opportunity to work in natural environments and in the community with unique experiences on company trips with clients.
  • BCaBAs supervise cases for an average of 5-10% of hours worked by RBTs per case.
  • RBTs receive full pay from KT-ABA; the analyst can bill insurance during that time if concurrent billing is not available.

Education and Experience
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree with required course completion.
  • Experience:

    Applied behavior analysis: 1 year (Preferred).
  • Experience with children with disabilities: 2 years (Preferred).
Licenses and Certifications
  • BCaBA certificate (Required).
  • CPR and First Aid.
  • Willingness to travel: 100%.
