Job Summary:
- Fully engaged in providing quality, no harm, customer experience and stewardship by adhering to Health First I CARE Values (Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence), producing quality images, following protocols, and mentoring coworkers.
- Maintain a safe environment, perform patient verification and timeout, adhere to MRI safety policies.
- Document and communicate required information, report equipment malfunctions, complete required documentation.
- Perform protocol, produce quality images, ensure clean and prepared exam rooms.
- Participate in quality initiatives, attend staff meetings, sign off minutes.
- Prepare and administer medications within scope.
- Communicate effectively with patients and others using excellent customer-relations skills.
- Provide pre‑ and post‑procedure education, respond to concerns, ensure privacy and dignity.

- Utilize supplies and equipment responsibly.
- Accurately enter and charge procedure data.
- Manage time effectively, complete tasks promptly, assist other departments as needed.
- Use Kronos time clock system, follow break/lunch policies.
- Maintain flexibility to adapt to workflow changes.
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee approved radiologic technology program.
- Current Florida State License as a General Radiographer.
- Current ARRT registration.
- Prior MRI experience preferred;
Advanced ARRT (MRI) examination recommended within two years. - AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
- Computer skills pertinent to technical performance.
- Excellent oral and written communication, ability to report to department within 30 minutes when on call.
- Walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift; move patients; push wheelchairs and stretchers; cover shifts.
- Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted; wear lead aprons for extended periods.
- Work efficiently in stressful environment; respond to life‑threatening situations; multitask; critical thinking and decision‑making; maintain professional ethics; organize effectively; relate well to all customers.
