Position SummaryTo be fully engaged in providing No Harm / Quality, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by ensuring the availability of a full range of high-quality, accurate cardiovascular examinations, as well as participating in the cost‑effective management of the Holmes Regional Medical Center Cardiac Cath, EP, INR and IR labs in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
Primary Accountabilities- Works with leadership, medical director(s) and staff to coordinate and ensures unit compliance with guidelines of accrediting and regulatory agencies, unit standards of care and practice, and organization policies and procedures.
- Manages the interventional labs, including students, by ensuring that staff are providing quality, accurate work and and are utilizing effective time management (productivity) in doing so.
- Responsible for education, orientation, and continuous quality improvement for all staff.
- Manages daily staffing and on‑call needs, assists or provides support as needed and in emergency situations.
- Coordinates evaluation and implementation of new equipment and ordering of unit supplies and ensures adequate inventory supplies for departmental needs.
- Manages PACs, equipment troubleshooting, escalation, preventative maintenance and maintenance calendars to avoid service interruptions.
- Processes requests with justification for additional unit needs outside of established budgets to the Director.
- Facilitates the development of unit objectives in accordance with measurable goals in quality improvement, with monthly reports and ensures education of associates and compliance with quality indicators and core measures.
- Manages operational and capital budgets, ensures compliance with budget expectations and corporate financial goals, and operates the unit within the budget by monitoring it monthly; assists in completing variance reports as indicated.
- Discovers opportunities for process improvement through reviewing performance metric reports and collaborating with other departmental leaders; articulates the business case for such changes.
- Conducts monthly unit meetings with quality assurance issues addressed; minutes are kept and made available to all staff not in attendance.
- Defines and communicates a clear, compelling vision for the team that effectively ties into the mission and vision of Health First, and inspirationally leads the team to achieve that vision.
- Provides leadership, motivation, coaching, feedback and support to strengthen growth, development and wellness at work to build and foster effective, high‑performing teams.
- Leads change through effective communication, explaining the connection and value to the organization, creating stronger buy‑in and urgency, while understanding impact on the team to obtain commitment.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or a conditional, time‑limited waiver for the Bachelor’s Degree requirement may apply to candidates who enroll in a Bachelor’s Degree program within one year of transfer or hire into the role.
Licensure
- Current Florida RN license or
- Registered Cardio Invasive Specialist or
- Registered Radiological Technologist
Certification
- Must hold and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
- Must hold and maintain current American Heart Association ACLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card.
Work Experience
- Two years acute care clinical experience.
- Meets all qualifications required in RN/RCIS/RT or R‑RT job description as applicable.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with EMR/EHR documentation.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills and professional presence.
- Ability to maintain composure in a stressful environment.
