About Our Company

Cornerstone Therapy Services, Inc. is seeking to hire a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to work full time and part time from 3-6 pm as an independent contractor with a steady patient caseload, within a multidisciplinary team of 12 therapists, including speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists and physical therapists. We see patients in our clinic Monday - Thursday with flexible work schedules. Documentation is through a user friendly EMR system and all coding and billing is handled through a core support team of insurance billing specialists in house.

We have two large sensory gyms, an additional quiet sensory calm down room and individual treatment rooms to play and treat our children.

Report writing time is paid! Besides the hourly contract rate, we pay for documentation for evaluations, progress reports and daily notes!

We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who loves working with children!

Candidates for the position must have:
  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders with CCC certification (will consider a strong CFY candidate for long term employment relationship); also strong SLPA with experience.
  • Florida license as a speech/language pathologist
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Experience with oral motor and feeding issues
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders
Bonus points for:
  • Bilingual skills
  • Medicaid and CMS authorized

This practice has 12 therapists with over 40 years of established experience from the therapist owner, providing personal care to children and their families in Brevard County since 1986. An independent, problem solver is crucial for this pediatric speech language pathology role. You must be able to diagnostically assess, plan treatment, write an evaluation and plan of care on the EMR system, implement treatment with children and effectively interact with parents.

I’m looking for a permanent team player as part of coordinated treatment services of speech, occupational and physical therapy within the clinic environment.
