Duration 6/27/25-1/2/26
Fully remote - few onsite visits

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of Epic Ambulatory-related projects, including planning, execution, and go-live support.

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams including clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, risk logs, budgets, and resource allocations.

  • Facilitate Epic-specific workflows, integrations, and change management processes.

  • Work closely with Epic Ambulatory analysts and builders to validate scope, ensure timely configuration, and meet project deliverables.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clinical departments and IT during the project lifecycle.

  • Track and report on key project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies to senior leadership.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other applicable healthcare regulations.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live readiness activities.

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in Epic Ambulatory implementations or support.

  • Epic Ambulatory certification or Epic Project Manager certification (current or within 6 months of hire).

  • Proven ability to manage complex healthcare IT projects.

  • Strong understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows and EHR systems.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred:

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.

  • Experience in change management and process improvement methodologies.

  • Prior experience working in an integrated Epic environment (e.g., MyChart, Care Everywhere, Orders).
