Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an exciting opening in the Strike Division for a Program Planning and Scheduling Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our sector. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL

Roles and responsibilities of the Program Planning and Scheduling Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:
Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts
Provide Program Planning & Schedule Analysts with day-to-day hands-on support, guidance, troubleshooting, and satisfying Programmatic requirements
Perform quarterly and year-end performance reviews
Project management including managing multiple priorities against ambitious timelines
Support/coordinate internal and external surveillance audits
Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, with particular focus on implementation of the Northrop Grumman Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Provide project planning support to proposal bids and bid reviews
Advise program leadership on the integration of project schedules and project master reports with Earned Value Management (EVM)
Support customer Integrated Baseline Reviews (I ) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
Attend site business management meetings to define schedule needs and partner with Division/Sector Scheduling management on resource allocation needs
Perform in a fast paced, frequently changing, and demand driven environment
Function as a change agent, creating an environment of trust, compliance, continuous improvement and learning
Problem solving and decision making requiring excellent communication skills
Travel 10%, as required
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with 9 years of relevant experience or 7 years of related experience with a Master’s degree.
Hands-on experience in Program Planning / Scheduling or Cost utilizing Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software
Demonstration of a strong understanding of project management
Prior leadership experience
The willingness and ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
Must have an active Secret Clearance
