What You Will Do:- Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations in Surface Mount (SMT) production area, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
- Manage, coach, and develop manufacturing employees while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor production schedules, prioritize work, and optimize workflow to meet customer commitments and operational objectives.
- Drive quality compliance by ensuring manufacturing processes, documentation, and products meet established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to resolve production issues and minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor production performance through data analysis, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, process optimization, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
- Support manufacturing innovation initiatives, including automation, digital transformation, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Interface with internal and external customers to resolve production concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies while supporting employee engagement and operational excellence.
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Utilizes CORE principles, a driver of improvement.
- Exposure to ERP systems, SAP preferred.
- Proven success developing and leading a team.
- Experience with Lean/Six Sigma.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, automated environment.
- Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively identify and resolve issues and mitigate risks.
